Q: What is SPANK/this tumblelog?

A: This tumbleog is where I post the pictures I find of SPANK! or fairy kei clothes or outfits. SPANK! is a used clothing store in Japan that sells 80’s and 80’s-inspired clothes. It is owned by Tabuchi Sayuri. The website for SPANK! is here, and on the staff page on that website there are links to the blogs of the staff members, where I get some of the pictures which I post on this tumblelog.

Q: Where can I get 80’s-inspired clothes like these?
A: If you’re in Japan, then you can get them at many places, including SPANK!, 6% DOKIDOKI, Nile Perch, and ManiaQ. If you’re outside of Japan, try thrifting. You can also stop by some normal retailers to pick up some cute accessories and such (necklaces, bracelets, socks, shoes…) Oh, and be sure to check out eBay frequently for both new & used items. (Try searching for reeboks, pastel sweaters & 80’s tshirts.)

Q: Where do you find these pictures?
A: Fashionsnap, dropsnap, various blogs (including the blogs of the SPANK! staff)… I do lots of searching on google & image websites, and I occasionally scan pages from magazines that I own.

Q: I have some pictures that aren’t on here. Can I submit them?
